Middle Georgia Outlook Survey
The Center for the Study of Economics and Liberty conducts the Middle Georgia Economic Outlook Survey (MGEOS), an annual survey of economic sentiment answered by a wide range of businesses in Middle Georgia. The survey was first implemented in 2014.
The goal of the survey is to gather information to understand the challenges and opportunities identified by businesses in our region. The data generated will be used by our students and faculty to conduct research projects to identify institutional challenges to economic freedom and development.
The MGEOS is possible because of the collaboration of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, the Milledgeville-Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, the Jones County/Gray Chamber of Commerce, the Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, the Perry Chamber of Commerce and the Wilkinson County Chamber of Commerce.
